Enter the number on WhatsApp and tap Next.
Your code appears on the Plugg page in seconds. Type it into WhatsApp.
Turn on two-step verification in WhatsApp settings so nobody can take the number from you.

Why people use a foreign number

A foreign number lets you open a second WhatsApp, keep your business line separate from your personal one, or use apps that do not accept Nigerian numbers.

What to avoid

Free number websites. The numbers are public, so hundreds of people have used them before you. The code goes to strangers and the account can be taken over any time.
Sellers who ask for your code. A real seller gives you the code, never the other way round.

Questions people ask

Is it legal to use a foreign number for WhatsApp?

Yes. WhatsApp only needs a number that can receive the code. Use it for normal chatting and business, not for anything that breaks WhatsApp rules.

Can the number be taken back?

Rented numbers can be reused later, so turn on two-step verification as soon as you are in. That stops anyone else from logging in with the same number.

How much does it cost?

Prices change with the country and app. Check the Buy a number page for the current price.
